Feel Good Massage started in the Algarge region of Portugal by Fiona Winscom. Fee is a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists, holding a Level 4 BTEC diploma in massage therapy. This, as well as personal professional development means that Fee can offer Swedish (therapeutic) massage, deep tissue massage, Indian head massage and pregnancy massage.
Fee sees each new client as an exciting and individual challenge. She is particularly excited by the recently specialised ‘pregnancy massage therapy’, as it is one of the few remedies affordable to pregnant women who cannot imbibe medicines to relieve their aches, strains and emotional changes that come with this unique time in life. Expert massage helps regulate stress hormones, blood pressure and lymphatic drainage.
Next year Fee will be studying traditional Thai yoga massage in Thailand. She looks forward to incorporating this into her repertoire of holistic healing modalities. Ailments sometimes require other specific remedies and these often complement each other. Fee refers appropriate cases to many colleagues throughout the Algarve. Her goal is to set up a mutli-disciplinary remedial centre in a relaxed and tranquil location near Lagos.
